Grandstand Section 32

Section 32, officially Left Field Grandstand 32, is way down the third base line.  It is the closest “Left Field Grandstand” section in left; in 2017 ticket prices were about $25 cheaper than in Section 31 (range of $15-$35 depending on date and location).  Sections 28 through 33 were built in 1934.

Row 2 has nine extra-wide cushioned seats (22”-23” wide): 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, and 15.  Seats in Row 2 have long leg room.

The rear part of Section 32 was modified to create an accessible space in Row 16. As a result, seats 15/1 through 15/16 do not exist, and seats 16/11 through 16/16 do not exist.  In the accessible area, 2, 3, 6, and 7 are real permanent seats, 1, 4, 5, 8, and 9 are wheelchair spaces, and 10 is a narrow companion space that can hold a folding chair.

In front of Section 32, row 1 was removed to create room for an accessible row in the loge box 163/164; therefore Row 2 is actually the front row of this section.  Row 1 does not exist.

As a result of these changes, capacity has been reduced.  In 1975 Section 32 capacity was 374; it is now 329 in 15 rows.

The following aisle seats have no arm rest on the aisle side: 3/1, 4/1, 5/1, 6/1, 8/26, 9/26, 10/26, 11/26, 12/26, 13/26, 14/26, and 15/26.

Rows 2 through 10 are higher priced than rows 11 through 16.

Best seat: Row 2 Seat 1
Worst seat: Row 3 Seat 20 (behind pole 32/33) (note: much of the outfield is blocked, but not called “obstructed” because the entire infield is visible.)

The chart below shows which seats are obstructed (view of catcher, batter, pitcher, or anywhere in between them blocked), partially obstructed (the bases or anywhere inside the diamond blocked), almost totally unobstructed (only foul territory or a small part of the outfield blocked), or totally unobstructed (including grass in foul territory); and shows which seats have blocked views of the main centerfield videoboard.
