Grandstand Section 15

Section 15, officially Infield Grandstand 15, is about even with first base and is behind the Red Sox dugout.  It is part of the original 1912 seating bowl.

A 19th row was added after the clubhouse expansion provided extra walkway space behind the original park.  Capacity of this section in 1975 was 427 in 18 rows.  Currently it holds 449 seats in 19 rows.

The numbering system skips a few seats because of a pole obstruction.  The following “ghost seats” do not exist: 1/1, 15/1, 16/1, 16/2, 17/1, 18/1, 19/1.

Rows 1 through 10 are higher priced than rows 11 through 17.

Best seat: Row 1 Seat 24 (aisle)
Worst seat: Row 4 Seat 24 (behind pole 15/16)

The chart below shows which seats are obstructed (view of catcher, batter, pitcher, or anywhere in between them blocked), partially obstructed (the bases or anywhere inside the diamond blocked), almost totally unobstructed (only foul territory or a small part of the outfield blocked), or totally unobstructed (including grass in foul territory); and shows which seats have blocked views of the main centerfield videoboard.
